Our Current Site Locations

The Community Environment Centre is an educational resource, community hub and environmental demonstration site for residents, visitors, and volunteers on various topics such as gardening, planting natives and sustainability in the home and backyard.

When: The second Saturday of the month, from 10am to 1pm with a lunch at the end - feel free to bring a plate of food to share.

Location: Currie Avenue, off Annangrove Road, Annangrove. The Centre is found at the rear of Annangrove Park in the carpark.

Flat Rock Gully is a spectacular site. Full of native species of flora and fauna. Come along on the 4th Saturday of every month (excluding December) from 10am until 1pm and help us with planting, weeding and maintenance of the site. We finish each working bee with a harvest which feeds wildlife that are in the care of wildlife rehabilitators within the Willoughby area! Bookings are essential (Click Here).

Location - Entrance off the eastern end of Small Street, Naremburn.

Parking - Onsite, down the driveway entrance at the bushy roundabout (Where the there is a sign for ‘Flat Rock Gully’).

We are thrilled to announce that we are, in collaboration with the amazing Randwick Sustainability Hub, launching a fantastic collaboration as a part of their ‘Saturday Circle’ program!

Come along and learn about your local fauna, what feeds them and support your local wildlife rehabilitation community. You can also learn about Bees, participate in a clothes swap, join the birding group or even how to take great photos on your phone!.

Our facilitators will teach you all you need to know about cultivating a great habitat for wildlife at your home! With the guidance of Hornsby Shire Bush Care, together we are working to create another exciting site for education, wildlife rehabilitation resource support and habitat expansion. Come along and help your local wildlife rehabilitators and wildlife. We have tons of exciting things to do including gardening, coloring in, tours and talks about all of your favorite local species.

Come along and help us grow food for sick, injured and orphaned native animals in the care of local wildlife rescue groups. These working bees are an awesome opportunity to learn about native gardening, local plant species, local wildlife and to have a laugh and connect with locals and wildlife rehabilitators in your area! A typical workshop and working bee could include an educational talk, weeding, watering, general maintenance of plots, planting new exciting plants, discussions about wildlife and lots of laughs. We even harvest food for the wildlife that are currently undergoing rehabilitation in your local area!.
